Shadow work is hidden.
But not where you think.
You don’t have to meditate.
You don’t need to dream.
You just need to live.
It’s not as hard as it seems.
It’s in your crappy response to something,
Saying yes when you meant to say no.
It’s the part of you that tightens
When you’re asked a question
That threatens what you don’t want to show.
Because it’s easier to deny.
To justify.
To avoid.
To blame your fear on the noise.
If you just paid attention
To your own thoughts and feelings,
You’d see your shadow clearly.
It’s not buried.
It’s not mysterious.
It’s just inconvenient.
But instead you focus on others,
What they did.
What they said.
How they made you feel.
And you miss the shadow’s reveal.
Shadow work is hidden.
But not where you think.
Focus on yourself,
And not on the show.
The shadow’s truth waits to be found.
Love to all.
